About the ACTS Community Cleaning Crew
Providing opportunities through cleaning services.
We are part of a 501(c)3 organization providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities to work in a rewarding and competitive environment.
The Crew
ACTS’ Cleaning Crews consist of two to four individuals and a job coach.
Job coaches are responsible for supervising our cleaning crews and supporting our individuals to be the best they can be. They promote training and encourage the necessary skills to be successful in their work goals.
Our goal is to prepare individuals to succeed in community employment. We focus on the individuality of each person, assessing personal interests, level of preparedness and overall strengths.
We teach our participants the ability to follow directions and communicate with supervisors, coworkers and customers. We also work on the abilities to attend to tasks, team work, work place problem solving skills and strategies and general workplace safety.
We strive to instill in our participants self-esteem, confidence and the ability to gain and retain employment.
Our cleaning crews take pride in their work and can help your business or residence stay clean.
